Castlepoint, east coast of North Island NZ
Rob Martin 25 Feb 2009, 02:19
I used to go fishing here as a kid / teen.
Plenty of Crays and other things.
idleye: Hi Rob and thanks
I'm glad the pic has prompted good memories. I visited Castlepoint in Jan 09 as part of a month in NZ (revisiting) and it was a new place for me (as was Martinborough - what a sweet town). Keep on checking out idleye over the next week and you will have some more memories stirred.

Good sea scene
idleye: Thanks vintage. Just about a couple of prior to this shot I got soaked by a sudden squall that blew up behind me while my back was turned. It is an interesting experience trying to run 400m to anything thatlooked like shelter (it wasn't) while trying to protect the camera from driving rain, ie stuffing it into the crumpler bag while running pell mell!
